The U-23 Indonesian National Team Will Undergo A 2-week Training Camp In Korea For The 2021 SEA Games, Players Are Asked Not To Go Home During Eid

JAKARTA - The U-23 Indonesian National Team will undergo a national training camp in South Korea. Garuda Muda will TC in Ginseng Country for two weeks to prepare for the 2021 SEA Games.

The players who have been called up have started their training camp in Jakarta since April 7 last. They will then depart for Korea following head coach Shin Tae-yong on Friday 15 April.

"They will train until April 28," said PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan while monitoring the Garuda squad's training at the Madya Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday, April 12.

After completing the training camp in Korea, the team will return to Jakarta. In the capital city, players will be given a holiday to welcome Eid al-Fitr in early May.

However, his party asked the players not to go home for Eid in their respective hometowns. They will remain in Jakarta to prepare themselves.

"I asked them not to go home for Eid and I will tell the players because the time is tight," said the man who is familiarly called Iwan Bule.

The Hanoi SEA Games will take place from 12-23 May. Football is one of 32 sports that Indonesia sends to the biennial event.

The Indonesian national team is targeted to bring home a gold medal in Hanoi later. Indonesia last brought home gold in this event in 1991 when the SEA Games took place in Manila.
