Having To Face Manchester United In The Struggle To Stay Away From The Relegation Zone, Everton Manager Frank Lampard Reveals The Importance Of The Role Of Fans

JAKARTA - Everton must meet a formidable obstacle in their efforts to stay away from the relegation zone. In Week 32, Saturday, April 9, Everton will face Manchester United.

Everton vs Manchester United will take place at Goodison Park. Everton manager, Frank Lampard, asked fans to come to support his team.

Lampard said support from supporters means a lot to his team, who are currently trying to stay away from the relegation zone.

After the defeat to Burnley in the middle of last week, they are now only one point away from the relegation zone. Currently, Everton have collected 25 points from 29 matches.

"I have to deal with this because I have to do my job. I can only ask the fans to come and really get behind us, as they have been doing since I've been here," said Lampard, as reported by Antara.

Lampard continued to say, the presence of these supporters was very influential where when appearing at home in the last six matches, Everton were able to win four matches.

This is in contrast to Everton's score when playing at home and in the last two matches they lost 1-2 to West Ham and 2-3 to Burnley.

One of Everton's best performances at Goodison Park this season was when the Toffees beat Newcastle United 1-0 in mid-March.

"The questions a few weeks later are very different but that's the nature of football. You have to be very level-headed, I understand the emotions of the fans and I do everything to make sure we get it right," said Lampard.

"We are a big club and people want to talk about it (position in the table). I am proud to be able to coach here and keep the history of this club going in a positive way," he continued.
