JAKARTA - Premier League club Liverpool are reportedly set to complete a move for winger Fabio Carvalho in the near future after missing the opportunity to do so in January.

Quoted from Sky Sports, Friday, Liverpool are believed to be giving Carvalho a five-year contract and he will officially join the Reds next summer.

Carvalho's contract with his current club Fulham is due to expire next summer, but the Cottagers could be compensated if the 19-year-old joins an English club, while clubs outside of that only have to pay a nominal fee.

Carvalho is reported to have undergone a medical with his current club's permission prior to the transfer which will see Liverpool pay Fulham 5 million euros plus an extra.

Carlvaho's transfer process to Liverpool last winter fell through after the Reds did not have enough time to complete on the deadline day.

Liverpool then tried to sign Carvalho and then loaned him back to Fulham, but in the end no agreement was reached.

This season, the young Brazilian has scored seven goals in 29 appearances for Fulham, including one against Manchester City in a 4-1 FA Cup defeat.

Currently Fulham are at the top of the Championship League standings and are getting closer to returning to the English Premier League. They are 11 points clear of their closest rivals, Bournemouth.
