JAKARTA – The coach of the Indonesia U-23 national team, Shin Tae-yong, has summoned 29 players to face the 2021 SEA Games Hanoi. The players who are called up will undergo a training camp in South Korea.
The names called will gather in Jakarta starting Wednesday, April 6, before leaving for South Korea later. They will follow Shin, who is currently in Korea for the U-19 Indonesia national team training camp.
PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan said that the training camp program in South Korea was at the request of coach Shin Tae-yong.
"We hope that with good preparation, the Indonesian national team can win the 2021 SEA Games. With these players who are called up and always work hard, be disciplined and focused, PSSI is sure that this will be achieved," said Iriawan on the federation's website.
