The Men's Basketball National Team Training SEA Games 2021 Followed By 23 Players, Some Are Active In The NBA!

JAKARTA - The basketball association throughout Indonesia (Perbasi) has announced the names of players who will take part in the 2021 SEA Games national training center (pelatnas). There are 23 players who have been summoned to participate in the national training.

Of the 23 names, there are several players who take part abroad. In fact, there are those who compete in the NBA G-League, namely Marques Bolden.

Derrick Michael, who is currently attending the NBA Global Academy, was also called up. Brandon Jawato, who plays in the Japanese basketball league, is also on the team list.

There is one naturalized player who is confirmed to be absent, namely Lester Prosper. He is currently still under contract with his club in the Taiwan League, as reported by Antara.

Of the 23 names released, the majority are senior players who have used to strengthen the Indonesian national team in various international championships. Call it Andakara Prastawa, Abraham Damar Grahita, Arki Dikania Vishnu, and Hardianus Lakudu.

However, not a few young players were given the opportunity to participate in national training with the national team, including Yudha Saputera, Ali Bagir, Isaiah Saudale, Muhammad Arighi, Hendrick Yonga, and Dame Diagne.

National training activities for the SEA Games will begin April 11 in Jakarta. Players who are called to participate in the national training are not only prepared for the 2021 SEA Games, but also the 2022 FIBA Asia Cup in July.
