JAKARTA - Singaporean-American fighter Angela Lee successfully defended her ONE Women's Atomweight world title after defeating ONE Women's Atomweight World Grand Prix Champion Stamp Fairtex in a ONE Championship moment of a decade in Singapore, Saturday night 26 March.

In the match titled ONE X, Angela Lee, as in the official statement of ONE Championship, Sunday, succeeded in going through a difficult match because she was immediately under pressure from Stamp, who is a fighter with muay thai martial arts discipline.

A left hook shot into Angela Lee's body sent her staggering across the Circle and Stamp tried to finish, but the reigning World Champion got back up and advanced to the second round.

Luckily the mother of one was able to get up in the second round by bringing Stamp to the mat. As an MMA fighter, Angela Lee was dominant and defeated Stamp Fairtex via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:50 minutes of the second round. This result is definitely something to be proud of as it marks her return to the Circle after giving birth.

"Thanks to everyone. This is my first win since becoming a mother," said Angela Lee as quoted on ONE Championship's social media accounts.
