Danielle Gibson Reveals The Sad Facts Behind The Glamor Lifestyle Of Being A Footballer's Wife

JAKARTA – In the minds of many people, being a footballer's wife automatically makes life full of sufficiency without lacking anything. The assumption is a little wrong for Danielle Gibson who is married to former Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson.

Danielle comes from a humble background in Wythenshawe, south Manchester. She then married Darron and began to lead a much more luxurious life.

However, his glamorous life with his family in Cheshire was not what he had hoped for. Danielle opened up about her life experiences at an event to inspire women on International Women's Day in Manchester.

"I feel I have no right to complain because I live in a big house," he was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail, Monday, March 21.

Danielle spoke to a group of entrepreneurs and friends at the event. Including a number of former wives and girlfriends of former Manchester United footballers. He spoke honestly about the realities of being married to a professional footballer.

"My kids go to private schools. So I didn't say anything to anyone. I felt like I couldn't tell anyone how hard it was because I'm rich, and rich people shouldn't have problems," says Danielle.

To that end, Danielle plans to launch The Heard Hub's psychotherapy business this year. It's to help others who are in a similar situation with face-to-face and online therapy sessions.

"My hope and dream is to work for people in this industry who feel they can never pick up the phone because they have it all. So I'm in the process of opening my own business in September and I want to help everyone," he said.

Darron Gibson is one of the promising young Manchester United players and is ready to enter the first team. However, he eventually moved to Everton in the January 2012 transfer window, before sustaining a cruciate ligament injury in October 2012 while playing for his country Ireland.
