JAKARTA - All England has entered the semifinals which will take place on Saturday 19 March. In the round that is getting closer to getting this trophy, Indonesia passed three representatives, all of whom came from the men's doubles sector.

Previously in the quarter-finals on Friday, March 18, Indonesia had seven representatives. However, the fierce competition then toppled four representatives and left only three to fight again in the semifinals.

The three Indonesian representatives who all came from the men's doubles sector were Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana, Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Marcus Fernaldi Gideon, and Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan.

Kevin/Marcus won the ticket to advance to the semifinals after defeating representatives of India, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty. The first seed won with two games 24-22, 21-17 in 47 minutes.

The success of Kevin/Marcus was then followed by Ahsan/Hendra and Bagas/Fikri. Ahsan/Hendra, who are the pride of the country's senior men's doubles, managed to overcome the resistance of Kim Astrup/Anders Rasmussen in two games with a score of 21-15 and 22-20.

Meanwhile, the non-seeded Bagas/Fikri mixed doubles managed to secure a place in the semifinals after getting rid of the third seed from Japan, Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi.

The results from the quarter-finals then also made Bagas/Fikri to meet fellow Indonesian representatives, Kevin/Marcus in the semifinals. That way, one ticket to the top party has been confirmed to belong to the Indonesian men's doubles sector.

After that, Ahsan/Hendra will also strive to qualify for the final. The Daddies will meet the Chinese pair, He Ji Ting/Tan Qiang at the Utlita Arena, Birmingham, England, where the semifinals will start at 19.00 WIB.
