Moto2 Riders Bo Bendsneyder And Gabriel Rodrigo Call The Mandalika Circuit Full Of Challenges

JAKARTA – Two racers from Mandalika SAG Racing Team, Bo Bendsneyder and Gabriel Rodrigo, think that the Mandalika Circuit has many challenges. The bends in the Indonesian pride circuit will make it difficult for the riders.

This was stated by Bo and Rodrigo at the Mandalika SAG Racing Team press conference at Epiwalk on Thursday, March 10. The two riders were ready to go down and feel the first experience of racing at the Mandalika Circuit.

"Regarding the track, I like fast corners, and also a lot of changes in direction on the circuit, and the most difficult thing is, when in session one we lose, we will lose. So the most important thing is that we must continue to be in the racing line, so we don't make mistakes," said Gabriel.

So the first experience of paving at the Mandalika Circuit made Bendsneyder and Rodrigo impatient to race. They hope to get through the challenges and get the best results.

As a provision, the two racers also found out about the character of the Mandalika Circuit through YouTube. They hope that what they learn can help them compete with other racers.

"Just as we can see, in MotoGP, the circuit layout is good, there are lots of fast corners and there are corners that we anticipate, hopefully we can get good results," said Bendsneyder.

Bendsneyder and Rodrigo got unsatisfactory results when they went down in the first series which took place in Qatar on March 6 last. The two finished 19th and 21st respectively, thus failing to earn any points.

The Mandalika series of MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 motorcycle racing events will be rolling from 18 to 20 March. This is the second series of the most prestigious racing event in this year's racing calendar.

Before leaving for Mandalika, Bendsneyder and Rodrigo will first meet President Joko Widodo. The two of them together with 18 other racers then paraded with the number one person in Indonesia in Jakarta.
