4 Ukrainian Boxers Ready For War To Beat Russian Troops

JAKARTA - Russia's invasion of Ukraine is still ongoing. Ukraine is yet to give up, while Russia is showing no signs of backing down.

Ukrainians from all walks of life are now uniting to fight the attack from Russia, and sportspeople are no exception.

Several Ukrainian athletes have declared that they are ready to go to war to defend their country. This includes four world-famous boxers who are fierce in the ring.

First is Vitali Klitschko. This 50-year-old man has retired from boxing and is focusing on politics.

He admitted that he had no other choice but to take up arms to defend his homeland. "I have to do that. I'm going to war," he said.

The younger brother, Wladimir Klitschko did not want to remain silent. The boxer who once defeated Anthony Joshua was also reportedly standing at the forefront to ward off Russian troops.

His other name is Vasiliy Lomachenko. The 34-year-old boxer who has presented two Olympic gold medals also said he was ready to fight.

Loma was recently spotted wielding an M16 and is reported to have joined the Belgorod-Dniester Terror Defense Battalion.

There is also Oleksandr Usyk. The 2012 Olympic gold medalist has already canceled his match against Anthony Joshua to return to his country.

He is reported to have been included in the squad list for the Kyiv region defense army. Not long ago he also showed a photo in full uniform and carrying an automatic machine gun.
