Ahead Of Qatar 2022 MotoGP: Pol Espargaro Begins To Unite With Honda RC213V

JAKARTA - MotoGP 2022 will soon start with a race at the Losail Circuit, Qatar, as the opening. All riders are believed to be in a combat-ready condition ahead of the inaugural race.

One of them is Repsol Honda champion, Pol Espargaro. The Spaniard claims that he has a better understanding of the characteristics of the Honda RC213V motorcycle.

This can be seen in the MotoGP test session at the Mandalika Circuit, some time ago. Pol was able to achieve the fastest lap record and showed the potential of the Honda motorcycle which underwent a radical change this year.

"With good test results, of course I am very happy to start this new season," Pol said on the team's official website, reported by Antara.

"I have trained as much as possible in the winter to be physically ready," he added.

This brother of Aleix Espargaro is also trying to maintain momentum with his mount. Despite appearing impressive during the test, Pol assessed that the Qatar MotoGP race, this weekend, could be different.

"We have arrived now in a different situation than 12 months ago. I know Honda, I know my team and although the RC213V is new, I understand it more and more. It's true, we had good pre-season results, but during the race everything was different," said Espargaro.

"This weekend in Qatar is all about building the base line and improving it every week, I want to fight at the front every weekend but it's still early. We'll see what happens, who comes up with what and how a slightly different race timing will change the conditions. " he continued.
