JAKARTA - Pratama Arhan had already left Bali and his club PSIS on Friday even though the League 1 competition was still rolling. Arhan said goodbye to go to Jakarta to prepare for his departure to Japan.

PSIS CEO, Yoyok Sukawi said Arhan said goodbye to Jakarta to arrange a work visa and other supporting documents. While in the capital, Arhan will be accompanied by Tokyo Verdy as the club that has officially signed him for the next two seasons.

"Pratama Arhan is in Jakarta to take care of visa administration and others. His departure (to Japan) depends on visas to leave Japan, all of which are managed by Tokyo Verdy," Yoyok said in a written statement.

Arhan officially became part of Tokyo Verdy which is a second tier club in the Japanese League. Even though he left the club first, this is not Arhan's farewell to PSIS.

Furthermore, Yoyok emphasized that the PSIS match against Borneo FC which ended in a 1-1 draw on Thursday was a match that was carried out as usual. He said that Arhan would only bid farewell if the time for his departure to Japan was certain, so to this day Arhan is still part of PSIS.

"It (the farewell match) depends on when the visa comes out, we are waiting for everything to be sorted out and he is still part of us (PSIS)," Yoyok added.

Previously, PSIS officially announced the release of Arhan to Tokyo Verdy on February 16. The 20-year-old player was released without a transfer fee, even though his contract period with Laskar Mahesa Jenar has not yet ended.

Tokyo Verdy itself is a second caste club in the Japanese League, the J2 League. Despite being in the second tier, the team, which is dominated by the color green, is the team with the most successful story in Japanese football.

Although it has not officially been officially docked at Tokyo Verdy's headquarters at Ajinomoto Stadium, Arhan's presence in the team has received a good reception.

Not only from players and management, Arhan was also happily received by Tokyo Verdy supporters. The proof is that Brigata Verde, which is the largest support group, has even prepared special chants for this footballer from Blora.
