Praises Conor Gallagher's Progress At Crystal Palace, Tuchel: He Takes Chance With Quality And Energy

JAKARTA - Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel praised the progress shown by Conor Gallagher who is on loan at Crystal Palace ahead of the meeting of the two teams in the 26th week of the Premier League at Selhurst Park Stadium, London, Saturday.

Quoted from the club's official website on Saturday, Tuchel said Gallagher is currently at the right club to continue to develop.

"Now you see what is being done to play as needed, and they (Crystal Palace) have an important role and he took the opportunity with quality and energy," explained Tuchel.

"He has taken a few steps in his development which have been very impressive and we are happy that he is a player and we are happy with that."

The German explained that he did not know if Gallagher could develop as he is at Crystal Palace at this time if he stayed with Chelsea.

Tuchel has confirmed Gallagher has made the right decision as he can thrive at Crystal Palace and Chelsea will make a decision on the England international's future.

According to him, the season is far from over and Gallagher must end the season with Crystal Palace in the best possible way and then Tuchel will see what the 22-year-old wants in the future.

Conor Gallagher has had a pretty good loan spell at Crystal Palace this season after making 21 appearances in the Premier League and scoring 7 goals and 3 assists.

Starting his career in the Chelsea youth team, Gallagher had spent time on loan at various English clubs such as Charlton, Swansea and West Brom. Gallagher's brilliant appearance this season is believed to make Chelsea not loan him out next season.
