Juventus Held To A 1-1 Draw With Torino, Allegri Sentil Vlahovic Who Appears Sluggish

JAKARTA - Juventus were held to a 1-1 draw with Torino in week 26 of the 2021/2022 Italian League, Saturday morning. After the match, Massimiliano Allegri tried to find positive things from this draw.

Even so, the coach continued to criticize his team's game, including the appearance of their new player, Dusan Vlahovic, who was also hit by a flick.

Appearing at the Allianz Stadium which is their own headquarters, Juventus had taken the lead thanks to a goal from Matthijs de Ligt in the 13th minute. But the advantage was actually offset by Torino in the 62nd minute through Andrea Belotti who then lasted until the game ended.

In this match, Dusan Vlahovic, who was brought in from Fiorentina, appeared sluggish. Although previously he performed brilliantly, but in this Derby della Mole match, Vlahovic was surrounded by the tight defense of Torino.

Allegri did not hesitate to criticize Vlahovic's appearance after the match. He asked the player to quickly learn with the intensity and atmosphere of intense competition in a team like Juventus.

"He (Vlahovic) is struggling because he is a very good player, but he has a lot to learn. Because many players have to learn," said Massimiliano Allegri quoted from Football-Italy.

"Tonight he had to pull Bremer (Torino centre-back) around the pitch and not give him a chance."

According to Allegri, Vlahovic must immediately adapt to the busy schedule that big teams usually get because he plays in many competitions other than the league.

"Don't forget that he is from a team (Fiorentina) who had a very good season but he plays one game a week," Allegri explained.

"You have to grow, you have to get used to it, all the things you need in a great team, otherwise physically you can't play a game every three days."
