Pratama Arhan Names 4 Aspects Of Him That Can Help Tokyo Verdy Return To J1 League

JAKARTA - Indonesian national team left-back Pratama Arhan wants to help his new club, Tokyo Verdy, return to Japan's top league, the J1 League, after last competing there in 2008. He mentioned four aspects of himself that could support his team's performance.

The 20-year-old footballer promised to maximize all his potential for the glory of Tokyo Verdy.

"I have speed on the left, 'crossing' (crossing), ball supply and throw-ins deep into the penalty box," Arhan said in a video posted on the Twitter account TokyoVerdySTAFF, quoted from Antara, Wednesday.

However, Arhan realized that he would not be able to succeed without the support of other parties, especially his colleagues later.

Therefore, he asked for cooperation and support in order to bring out the best potential.

"I ask for support from everyone. I promise to be 100 percent consistent. I am very happy to join Tokyo Verdy, one of the most successful clubs in the Japanese League," said Arhan, who at the end of the video mentions a Japanese phrase namely '"yoroshiku onegaishimasu" -kira means "nice to meet you".

The announcement of the transfer of Pratama Arhan to Tokyo Verdy from PSIS Semarang came out today from each club.

Arhan was contracted by Tokyo Verdy for two years. However, the PSIS said there was no fee for the transfer or it was free.

Primary Arhan's arrival was welcomed by his new partner, Junki Koike.

Through his Twitter account, @koikejunki7, Junki wrote the sentence "Welcome to Verdy. I'm waiting!"

Tokyo Verdy itself is one of the most successful clubs in Japan by collecting two J1 League titles, five Emperor Cup winners status, six J League Cup trophies and one Asian Champions League champion.

The club, which was founded (1969) named Yomiuri FC, was first relegated to the J2 League in 2005 because that season they were in 17th position (out of 18 teams) in the J1 League.

However, Tokyo Verdy returned to the J1 League in 2008 before being thrown back into the J2 League to date.
