Prilly Latuconsinna Makes Tangerang Mayor Seriously Prepare Home Base For The Future Of Persikota

JAKARTA - Tangerang Mayor Arief R Wismansyah revealed that the Tangerang City Government will prepare a headquarters for the Persikota football club and other sports athletes, namely the construction of the Tangerang AYO stadium as a future home base.

"The city government will be committed to continuing to prepare sports facilities for the community, which will be carried out in the future, namely the construction of the Tangerang AYO Stadium and become the pride of the residents of Tangerang City in the future," said Mayor Arief at the Persikota Reborn Press Conference event at the Novotel Tangerang Hotel as quoted by Antara, Friday, February 4th.

Mayor Arief also welcomed the joining of artist Prilly Latuconsinna in Persikota management. The communication that was established some time ago finally found a common point in advancing sports, especially football.

"Joining Prily will be a motivation. From the existing conversations, finally there is the same fashion and is ready to advance Persikota to a higher caste. This is the only woman who has a professional football club and is a native of Tangerang City," he said.

He said that currently the Persikota club would use the newly inaugurated Benteng Reborn Stadium. Renovations have been carried out since last year and are now ready for use.

"The Reborn Fort Stadium has been 99 percent completed renovation and inaugurated. The shortage is still in progress and God willing, it will be completed in the near future. This will be Persikota's headquarters in the future in Liga 3," he said.

Meanwhile, Mayor Arief also invited the entire community of Tangerang City to provide support for Persikota which will compete in the National League 3 starting this weekend.

Established since 1994, Persikota has proud achievements. It is hoped that with the improvement and arrangement as well as professional management, Persikota can again appear at the national level.

"We invite all residents to support Persikota to become a proud football club and a moment of revival of sport in Tangerang City," he said.
