Kangkangi Michael Jordan, Giannis Antetokounmpo Now Record 29 Triganda Throughout His Career

JAKARTA - Giannis Antetokounmpo surpassed one of the best basketball players of all time, Michael Jordan, when he helped the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Washington Wizards 112-98 in the NBA follow-up game at the Fiserv Forum, Wisconsin, Tuesday local time (Wednesday WIB).

In that game, Antetokounmpo recorded his fourth triple of the season scoring 33 points, securing 15 rebounds and providing 11 assists.

The achievement made Antetokounmpo surpass Jordan in the list of triples in NBA history, for a total of 29 times throughout his career, according to the Bucks' official website.

The triple score achieved by Antetokounmpo this time was quite brilliant considering that the 2019 and 2020 NBA Best Player (MVP) spent the first quarter without scoring a single point.

Antetokounmpo completed his triple tally with an assist he sent for Bobby Portis with three minutes 32 seconds remaining in the final quarter.

In addition to the Antetokounmpo tridous, the Bucks' victory was supported by the double-digit numbers achieved by all their five teams. Jrue Holiday scored 22 points, Portis 17 points, Khris Middleton 13 points and Grayson Allen 10 points.

Antetokounmpo responded with an alley-oop and three-point play that put the Bucks back in the lead 88-86 with seven minutes 50 seconds remaining.

Harrell pulled it back at 88-88 before Holiday scored the triple followed by four points from Antetokounmpo that took the Bucks away again 95-88. Since then, the Bucks have been relatively comfortable keeping their lead to seal a 112-98 win.

The Bucks have had a fairly long break because they only took the floor again on Saturday, February 5 local time when they visited the Portland Trail Blazers headquarters, while the Wizards will continue their away game tour at home to the Philadelphia 76ers.
