Repair Of The Rail Gogosan Completed, The Ciamis-Manonjaya Train Line Can Be Passed Again

PT KAI Operational Area (Daop) 2 Bandung said it had completed the handling of the rail strike at the Ciamis-Manonjaya road plot on Friday, March 28 at around 23.50. Now, the train has been able to pass the track again.

"With the completion of the repair, the railway line can be passed safely and smoothly again. The South Parcel Goods train for the Bandung-Surabaya City connection is the first train to pass at that location," said KAI Public Relations Manager Daop 2 Bandung Kuswardojo quoting Antara.

He said the handling of this natural disturbance was carried out immediately after it was found that there was a strike under the tracks due to soil erosion caused by rainfall that occurred at the location on Friday (28/3) at 15.50 WIB.

The Daop 2 Bandung team, he continued, was immediately dispatched to the location and synergized with regional officials including the TNI and Polri to improve track normalization to ensure the safety of train travel.

"In order to create safe, safe, and comfortable transportation for customers, we will immediately make improvements and normalization efforts as soon as there is a disturbance in the railway line. Repairs to the handling of this goal are carried out so that train operations can return to normal immediately," said Kuswardojo.

Improvements, he continued, were carried out by adding a number of materials and strengthening the affected soil structure. In addition, KAI has also prepared preventive measures to anticipate similar incidents in the future.

During the handling, he said, KAI Daop 2 Bandung also provided services in the form of Service Recovery to affected customers in accordance with applicable regulations.

In addition to Service Recovery, KAI also invites customers affected by the goalkeeper who want to cancel tickets, they can cancel up to D+7 with a return of 100 percent according to the ticket price listed.

With the completion of the normalization of this line, the train journey that passed the route returned to normal according to a predetermined schedule.

Previously, PT KAI Daop 2 Bandung carried out a pattern of operations turning to the north lane for affected trains, namely the Turangga train and Malabar train due to the Ciamis-Manonjaya railway line not yet safe from landslides and repairs are being carried out.

The Turangga train for the Bandung-Surabaya Gubeng and the Malabar train for the Bandung-Malang connection during the road repair period, was decided to cross Bandung - Cikampek - Cirebon.

This rotating pattern is one of the scenarios carried out in order to provide security for train travel, in addition to the scenario for passenger transfer for Pangandaran trains at Manonjaya Station, Ciamis Station, and Banjar Station, as well as for Serayu Train at Tasikmalaya Station and Ciamis Station with bus modes of transportation.
