JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung promised to increase the number of DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) officers. Recruitment of firefighter personnel will be carried out this year.

"If you look at the challenges, numbers, existing circumstances, then I will open up space for this year to be held (recruitment of firefighters)," said Pramono at the office of the DKI Gulkarmat Service, Central Jakarta, Monday, March 24.
Pramono admitted that he did not know the number of officer formations to be recruited. He will summon the Head of the DKI Gulkarmat Service to map the number of needs of firefighters. What is clear, there are certain criteria needed in his recruitment.
"I asked several firefighters, on average, they have been tasked for 25-30 years. This means that people who work like those in the fire department work a long time.
