PPP Prepares Unconflictless Congress X For 2029 Election Preparation

JAKARTA - Acting (Plt.) Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP), Muhamad Mardiono, emphasized that all PPP cadres have agreed to ensure that the implementation of the X Congress runs without organizational defects to prevent internal conflicts. This statement was made by Mardiono in Jakarta on Friday night, December 13.

"We know that in the journey of the United Development Party, there has been a long conflict and so on," said Mardiono. He emphasized that at the X Congress later, all cadres are determined not to color the course of leadership changes with prolonged conflicts.

For this reason, the PPP DPP has carefully prepared the X Congress through the National Working Conference (Mukernas) II which was held in Ancol, North Jakarta. Mardiono explained that PPP is an organization that is already at the national level and technically already knows which direction is good and not.

"This organization is a national level organization. Yes, of course, it is not like family-based organizations. The congress should not be spiced up by scratches which then become the burdens of the past," he said.

Mardiono also added that his party would take care of this party in a better direction and protect it from parties who do not want this party to bounce back. The X PPP Congress will be accelerated to prepare for the 2029 General Election so that the party bearing the Kaaba can return to Senayan.

"The solemn period of the United Development Party will end in December 2025. Due to the situation and political conditions, we need acceleration," said Mardiono. He explained that the acceleration of this congress so that the management who will be elected will have a long time to consolidate in preparation for the 2029 General Election.

Currently, the PPP DPP is holding a Mukernas II to prepare the X Congress which will be held in the near future. At Mukernas II, the management will decide the schedule for the congress, location, and place to be used to accommodate cadres, administrators, and invited guests.

With careful preparation and commitment to avoid conflict, PPP hopes to face the 2029 election more solidly and ready to return to winning seats in Senayan.
