The East Jakarta Metro Resort Police is still investigating the case of the abuse of a bakery employee on Jalan Raya Milling, Cakung, East Jakarta.
"Currently, the investigation process is being handled by the Jatanras Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit," said East Jakarta Police Public Relations Section Head Adjunct Commissioner (AKP) Lina Yuliana as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, December 14.
Lina menjelaskan, kasus penganiayaan tersebut telah dilaporkan korban pada 18 Oktober 2024 terkait penganiaan berat yang dialaminya sebagaimana dalam pasal 351 KUHP dan sudah dilakukan pemeriksaan klarifikasi tiga orang saksi.
"Initially the reported asked the victim for help to deliver the reported food to the reported private room, then the victim did not want to be because it was not his job," said Lina.
The reported party was then angry and took a chair that was thrown at the victim and hit the left side of the head which resulted in lacerations and shoulders of the victim.
