KPU Says Re-voting For The 2024 Pilkada Has Been Completed

The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia revealed that the re-voting (PSU), further voting (PSL), follow-up voting (PSS), and the 2024 Pilkada vote count (PUSS) had been completed.

"So that currently there is no more implementation of PSU, PSS, PSS, and PUSS, as the rules are up to a maximum of 10 days from the voting day," said Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Mochammad Afifuddin at the Indonesian KPU Office, Jakarta, Friday, December 13, confiscated by Antara.

Furthermore, he explained that 602 polling stations (TPS) had carried out the PSU, PSL, PSS, and PUSS 2024 Pilkada processes.

"As we know, the number of PSS TPS is 247 polling stations, the PSL 102 polling stations, the PSU 249 polling stations, the PUSS 4 polling stations. The total is 602 polling stations," he said.

Previously, Afifuddin at the Indonesian KPU Office, Jakarta, Friday, November 29, explained that there were several reasons for the implementation of PSU, PSL, PSS, and PUSS. One of them, he said, was due to natural disasters.

Then, there were security disturbances, administrative errors or procedures by the voting organization group (KPPS), there were voters who were not registered using their voting rights, as well as recommendations from the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu).

Currently, the ongoing 2024 Pilkada stage is the recapitulation of the counting results in stages, and the announcement of the recapitulation of vote count results.
