Haven't Registered The Jakarta Regional Head Election Lawsuit To The Constitutional Court Yet, RIDO Legal Team: Still Waiting For Direction, Pray For Smooth

JAKARTA - RIDO Muslim Jaya Law Team Butar Butar said his party was still waiting for the direction of the candidate pair winning team leader number 1 Ridwan Kamil-Suswono to register the Jakarta Pilkada results lawsuit with the Constitutional Court.

Muslim said that his party had not been able to confirm the schedule of the legal team to register the application with the Constitutional Court.

According to him, the deadline for registration is three working days since the DKI Jakarta KPU sets the election results, which is no later than today.

"I explained that the Constitutional Court Regulation Number 4 of 2024 concerning the guidelines for holding an event at the Constitutional Court gave the candidate pairs of pilkada participants to submit an application to the Constitutional Court within 3 working days from the time it was enacted. Jakarta regional election yesterday, December 8, the Jakarta KPUD has determined the results of the time to submit the application Monday-Wednesday deadline at 23.59 WIB. There is still time, it's still a long time," Muslim said when confirmed, Wednesday, December 11.

"The point is that the legal team has prepared everything, just waiting for the direction of the winning team leadership," he continued.

Muslims also asked for prayers from Jakarta residents so that the lawsuit request to the Constitutional Court was launched. From the information circulating, the schedule for the application will be confirmed after the team coordinates this evening.

"Please pray that it will run smoothly if there is no charcoal, it can be registered immediately," said Muslim.

Previously, Deputy Secretary of the Winning Team for Ridwan Kamil and Suswono (RIDO), Adhinusa, said that his party would register the Jakarta Pilkada lawsuit with the Constitutional Court (MK) tomorrow, Wednesday, December 11.

"The plan is tomorrow (to the Constitutional Court, ed)," said Adhinusa when confirmed, Tuesday, December 10.

Adhinusa said that his party was still finalizing the preparation of evidence. He said the RIDO team would also include additional evidence.

"Today is the finalization of the lawsuit preparation and adding some evidence," he said.

According to him, the legal team personnel and their leaders will be delivered directly by the Head of the RIDO Winning Team, Ahmad Riza Patria.

"Later it will be announced by the Head of the Winning Team, just wait, be patient," he said.
