Chairman of the Central Executive Board of the United Development Party (DPP PPP) Achmad Baidowi emphasized that his party remains solid in supporting the Candidate Pair for President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md.

Achmad Baidowi said this when responding to the declaration by the National Coordinator (Kornas) of the PeTiGa Cadre to support the pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Sunday afternoon.

"Maybe the one who conveyed the different support had previously entered the PPP structure. However, now we make sure that the PPP structure is solid," said the man who is familiarly called Awiek, when contacted by ANTARA in Jakarta, Sunday.

On the other hand, Awiek admitted that his party was not aware of the existence of the PetiGa Cadre Kornas which declared support for Prabowo-Gibran.

Awiek said that his party is currently focusing on strengthening support for the Ganjar-Mahfud pair, especially at the grassroots.

"We continue to consolidate downwards to win Ganjar-Mahfud," he said.
