Bridal Waterfall Film Stars Leading Lives Allegedly Due To Fat Suction Malpractice, Police Conduct Investigation

JAKARTA - Alleged malpractice for fat-suction surgery was experienced by a wedding waterfall film star named Nanie Darham which led to death. The incident occurred at one of the clinics in the North Cipete area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, last Saturday, October 21.

Wakasat Reskrim Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan, Kompol Henrikus Yossi menjelaskan, pihaknya masih melaksanakan penanganan terhadap laporan polisi tanggal 22 Oktober terkait adanya dugaan malpractice dengan korban sister NA.

"The incident occurred on October 21, Saturday, around the afternoon when the victim was undergoing fat-suction surgery at the clinic," Kompol Henrikus told reporters, Sunday, November 26.

Furthermore, Kompol Henrikus said, at that time the victim together with one of his colleagues went to the clinic in the North Cipete area, Kebayoran Baru. The victim carried out a fat suction operation.

Then there were several steps taken before the operation. After conducting an initial examination before the operation, the victim then entered the operating room at around 15.00 WIB and was handled by several doctors and nurses in the operating room.

"In the ongoing process of carrying out the operation, there was information that the victim's condition was in an unstable condition. So at that time the clinic then contacted the ambulance to take the victim to a hospital in the Barito area," he said.

Furthermore, the NA victim was taken to the hospital. The victim was treated at the ER at a hospital in the Barito area, and declared dead.

"For this incident, the family then made a report the next day on October 22 regarding the alleged malpractice experienced by the victim," he said.

Until now, the case is still being handled by the South Jakarta Metro Police and is in the process of deepening the investigation.
