Regarding Politics, Boediono Praises Ganjar Pranowo: He Is Temperature, I Listen

JAKARTA - The 11th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Boediono said he did not discuss too much about politics in his meeting with presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo today. The reason is, Boediono admits that he has no deep knowledge of politics. "I hear more about politics. He (Ganjar) has the temperature. I listen," said Boediono after receiving Ganjar Pranowo's arrival at his residence in the Gondangdia area, Central Jakarta, Jakarta, Antara, Friday, November 24. During the meeting, Boediono gave advice to Ganjar regarding the economy and national development. He also gave a tip to Ganjar regarding the processing of human resources (HR) and how to regulate state institutions. When asked his opinion about Ganjar's ability to fix the Indonesian economy, Boediono did not explicitly answer. "I think all of these presidential candidates are good. It's just the people who choose which one," he added. Before meeting Boediono, Ganjar also had time to accompany the 10th and 12th Vice Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla in Jakarta, Sunday (19/11), to discuss the neutrality of state officials in the 2024 General Election. During the meeting, JK and Ganjar discussed politics and the state, one of which was related to the issue of neutrality of state officials. The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia has appointed three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates as participants in the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number 3.

The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
