JAKARTA - Police again arrested dozens of teenagers who were suspected of wanting to brawl in the Semarang City area, Central Java, early Sunday morning, after similar firm action was taken the day before.
Semarang Police Head of Samapta, AKBP Asep Supriyanto, said that 21 teenagers and a number of sharp weapons were secured in two different locations, namely on Majapahit street and the North Semarang area.
He explained that the action was carried out after the Semarang Police Precision Pioneer patrol team received reports from residents via the Libas application.
Officers arrested 12 teenagers around Majapahit street along with two sharp weapons and a golf club.
The patrol then continued to the North Semarang area where nine teenagers were arrested along with a sickle.

He said that if the plan was canceled then they would look for enemies.
He expressed his thanks to the community who had participated by providing information about the whereabouts of these youth groups.
