PALEMBANG - The Palembang City Government, South Sumatra, is targeting to repair thousands of public street lighting (PJU) scattered in 18 sub-districts by the end of 2023. "Currently, quite a number of PJU lights have been damaged, to repair the team and it is hoped that it will be completed according to the target by the end of this year," said Head of the Affan Prapanca Perkimtan Service in Palembang, Tuesday, October 31. He explained, based on current public data and reports, there are around 3,000 lamp points damaged throughout the area which are the authority of his party to be repaired. It is hoped that the PJU light repair activity can run well. For people who know that a damaged lamp can report it to the Perkimtan Service officers. Meanwhile, the Acting Mayor of Palembang, Ratu Dewa, explained that his party continues to carry out regular monitoring activities on the condition of public street lighting.
