Considered Illegal, Dozens Of Remang Cafes In Cilincing Get SP1

JAKARTA A total of 29 dim stalls (warem) beside the Jalan Cakung Drain bridge and under the Jalan Kampung Baru bridge, Cilincing was given SP1 by the City Government (Pemkot) of North Jakarta (Jakut). Their existence is considered to have violated the regulations. Therefore, the officers gave the owner a week of a dimly lit shop (warem) to vacate the land and stop illegal activities.

Acting (Plt) Head of Cilincing Village, Sarmudi, told reporters in North Jakarta on Tuesday that 29 cafes were given the first warning letter (SP1) for violating public order and deviated from the permit that had been given.

"We gave the first warning letter (SP1) to illegal cafes beside the Cakung Drain Road bridge and under the bridge on Jalan Kampung Baru, Cilincing, North Jakarta," said Sarmudi.

There are 14 dimly lit stalls that occupy the Jalan Kampung Baru bridge, while 15 units are on the side of the Cakung Drain Road bridge.

"We hope they comply with the warnings that have been given," said Sarmudi. If they are still carrying out activities, the kelurahan will not hesitate to take action in accordance with applicable regulations.

"To the owner or manager, we will give 7x24 hours to immediately dismantle/empt cafes/enterprises at that location," said Sarmudi asserted. The provision of SP1 based on the DKI Jakarta Provincial Regulation Number 8 of 2007 concerning Public Order, Article 48 paragraph (1) and (2), which states, "Every person or body is prohibited from holding entertainment business venues for the governor's or appointed officials' permits". And any entertainment business venue that has received a permit as referred to in paragraph (1) is prohibited from carrying out other activities that are deviant and permits are owned.
