Pursuing 11 Million Votes, Ganjar And Mahfud Participate In Giving Material To PPP DPRD Members

JAKARTA The pairs of candidates for president and vice president, Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD also gave directions at Technical Guidance and Workshop events for members of the PPP DPRD throughout Indonesia.

Acting (Plt) Chairperson of PPP, Muhamad Mardiono revealed that Ganjar's presence at the opening of the bimtek and Mahfud at the workshop is expected to provide motivation for all DPRD members and PPP candidates who are targeting to win eleven million votes in the 2024 election.

"The PPP legislative candidate will spearhead winning the party in the 2024 election, where PPP has targeted 11 million votes, two thousand seats throughout Indonesia, both cities/districts, provinces and 50 seats in the DPR," said Mardiono at the opening of the technical guidance at the Mercure Ancol Hotel, Jakarta, Friday (20/10) night.

In his remarks, Ganjar expressed his gratitude for the support given by PPP in the 2024 presidential election. According to him, cooperation with PPP was not the first time, because he and Taj Yasin Maimoen, who incidentally PPP cadres, were the pair of governors and deputy governors of Central Java.

In addition, Ganjar also considers PPP to be his home, considering that his extended family is a cadre of the party bearing the Kaaba symbol. "If I am invited to PPP, it's like going home. I want to say I don't care, my mother-in-law, yes my brother-in-law, all PPP," he added.

Meanwhile, in a workshop that took place on Saturday (21/10), Mahfud MD provided material on legal politics in guarding Indonesian democracy. According to him, PPP has a role in the DPRD level in drafting regional and national law politics.

"For material, there is a legal political policy in guarding democracy in Indonesia, of course, the role of PPP, especially at the DPRD level in drafting regional law politics to implement national law politics," said Mahfud MD.
