The Attorney General's Office And BNN Hand Over 100 Kg Of Crystal Methamphetamine Cases To The Pidie Prosecutor's Office

BANDA ACEH - The Attorney General's Office and the National Narcotics Agency have transferred 100 kilograms of methamphetamine to the Pidie District Attorney (Kejari), Aceh.

"We have received the delegation of 100 kg of crystal methamphetamine cases from the AGO and BNN RI," said Head of the General Crimes Section of the Pidie Prosecutor's Office, Sukriyadi, in Pidie, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, October 20.

Sukriyadi said the narcotics crime case was handed over along with three suspects, namely RM (30), MF (23) a resident of Lueng Bimba, Meurah Dua District, Pidie Jaya. Then, HE (37) a resident of Geulangang, Ulim District, Pidie Jaya.

"There is another Mahmudi alias Budi, he is on the DPO (wanted list) and is in Malaysia," he said.

The suspects were previously arrested by the BNN RI Team on Monday, June 19, 2023, in the Laweung waters, Muara Tiga District, Pidie Regency.

In their action, the suspects used a ship carried from Malaysia via Langkawi waters to Indonesia via the Laweung Beach route.

Then, he said, then the illicit goods were handed over to the three suspects who had been determined by Mahmudi (DPO).

For almost two weeks of sweeping the sea, he explained, they were finally arrested along with evidence of four sacks containing 100 kg of crystal methamphetamine in Pidie waters.

"The suspect is now detained at the Class IIB Rutan Benteng City Sigli, and charged under Article 102 in conjunction with Article 112 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph 1 of the Narcotics Law Number 35 of 2009," said Sukriyadi.
