Ganjar Involves Many Godok Experts On Indonesia's Superior Visions

JAKARTA - The presidential-vice presidential candidates Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD have submitted their vision and mission in participating in the 2024 presidential election contestation. The vision and mission has also been submitted to the General Election Commission (KPU) when registering as a candidate pair for presidential and vice-presidential candidates today.

Ganjar said the preparation of his vision and mission had been discussed for a long time. The formulation of his vision and mission has also been refined by expanding ideas involving experts.

"It has been a very long time and we have involved many experts. We have disseminations, discussions with them to be more stable and thank God many have provided input both at home and abroad. Hopefully the best," said Ganjar at the KPU Office, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Central Jakarta, Thursday, October 19.

In the vision and mission document of Ganjar-Mahfud received by VOI, these candidate pairs of presidential and vice-presidential candidates will have a vision towards superior Indonesia.

Meanwhile, their mission includes accelerating Indonesia's superior human development of quality, productive, and personality; accelerate mastery of science and technology through accelerating research and independent innovation; accelerate the development of a career economy based on knowledge and added value.

Then, accelerate ekonomic development equality; accelerate the development of a national digital system; accelerate the realization of a sustainable environment through a green and blue economy; accelerate the implementation of substantive democracy; human rights respect, fair rule of law, and professional security.

Furthermore, accelerating the increase in Indonesia's role in realizing a new world system that is more just through active free foreign politics and strengthening national defense.

"Including downstreaming, which is not only natural resources, but is included in the marine areas, plantations, and digital areas," explained Ganjar.

"This is always important to be a concern including of course a clean, equal government, all of which can access, and of course the development of a green, blue, digital economy, which we call a new economy," he added.

Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD officially registered as pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential elections. Ganjar and Mahfud were registered by the coalition of PDIP, PPP, Perindo, and Hanura parties.

This registration file was submitted by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri to the Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Hasyim Asy'ari. Furthermore, Ganjar and Mahfud submitted the vision-mission document as candidate pairs to the KPU.

Then, the KPU scheduled Ganjar and Mahfud to conduct a health check on October 22, 2023 at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital.
