NTB Police Reminds Prohibition Of Flying Drones In Mandalika Circuit Areas

The NTB Regional Police reminded the public and visitors regarding the ban on drones or drone flying in the Mandalika Circuit area. "It's still the same as the previous year, this (the prohibition) is to prevent disturbances in the smooth running of the MotoGP event," said Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Arman Asmara Syarifuddin in Mataram, Antara, Friday, October 13. In addition to conveying the ban, he also mentioned that there was already an antidrone task force from the Brimob Police Corps that carried out surveillance. If there are findings of drones flying during the international class motorcycle racing activity, they will not hesitate to take action. "We take firm action by firing signals to force down drones," he said. In active supervision, the antidrone task force is also on guard from Bukit 360 of the Mandalika Circuit. This location is known as a place that can thoroughly monitor the racing circuit area.

This extreme racing activity lasted for three days starting from the test phase of today's track to the racing agenda which took place on Sunday, October 15.
