Members Of The House Of Representatives Disappointed With The Bunyu Kaltara Hospital Project Mangkrak

Member of Commission VI DPR Deddy Yefri Hanteru Sitorus admitted that he was disappointed with the unfinished construction of the Bunyu Primary Hospital (RSP) in Bunyu District, Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan (Kaltara).

"I am very disappointed, especially since the second year of the Bunyu RSP has not been completed. I have worked hard to find a budget but until today it has not been completed," said Deddy Sitorus after inspecting the Bunyu RSP construction site, Wednesday, October 11.

This member of the PDIP faction of the DPR explained that although the physical building has been completed, in the yard of the RSP which is quite wide, the paving bricks are still not installed. In addition, the road to the main building is still in the form of soil mixed with stones.

Deddy explained that some of the building walls had been painted green. However, the two main modern-designed buildings have not functioned, aka stalled.

"Unfortunately, this work project stopped long before it was completed," he explained.

Inside the building, continued Deddy Sitorus, the condition of the ceramic floor has not been installed, including windows, doors and corridors on the back side.

A number of materials just lay there and not a single worker.

"Only a fence guard was seen. Information from residents, the work on this project had been stopped a few months ago. Some workers admitted that they were not paid by contractors," he explained.

Seeing this condition, Deddy Sitorus also asked the police, BPK and BPKP to audit the work of this RSP construction project.

"How disappointed Bunyu residents are, how many people can lose their lives because the RSP is stalled. I ask the Kaltara Police, BPK and BPKP to investigate and audit the contractor," said Deddy.

In addition to reviewing the construction of the RSP, Deddy Sitorus also reviewed the construction of the Bunyu port.

"The construction of the work port has been completed and can be used by the community. There are only a few improvements, later we ask the Minister of Transportation to inaugurate it," he concluded.

The Bunyu RSP construction starts in early 2022 and is targeted for completion by the end of 2022.

However, the target missed revision in May 2023. Ironically, the RSP financed from the 2022 Special Allocation Fund (DAK) was around Rp. 84 billion until the end of June has not been completed.
