Please Pray For Blessing, Anies-Cak Imin Will Register Early In The Morning To The KPU On October 19

JAKARTA - The presidential and vice presidential candidate pair from the Change Coalition, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) will register on the first day of registration to the General Elections Commission (KPU) on 19 October.

Cak Imin said the Amin pair would visit the KPU early in the morning at around 08.00 WIB. He asked for prayers and blessings for himself and Anies.

"On 19 am, God willing, we will register the Amin couple. Please pray for your blessing, ask for your support," said Cak Imin in his statement, Wednesday, October 11.

Cak Imin is optimistic that he will run for the 2024 presidential election because he has received the support of three main parties, namely PKB, PKS and NasDem. He hopes that the KPU can objectively carry out its duties and functions as the organizer of the election.

"God willing, we will flock to the KPU. (We) pray that the KPU will remain objective and make it an independent force," said the deputy chairman of the DPR.

The plan is for Cak Imin and Anies Baswedan to walk to the KPU at 08.00 WIB, preceded by a roadshow to support parties.

The two of them will depart from their respective residences and then will go to PKB, then to PKS, and finally to the NasDem office. From NasDem Tower, the Amin pair with a convoy will walk to the KPU RI office.

"Insyallah kita berangkat dari kantor DPP PKB jam 8 pagi. Diawali dengan perjalanan dwi tunggal Anies-Muhaimin, dari rumah masing-masing. Kemudian berkonjung ke PKB, mendapatkan restu PKB, datang PKS mendapatkan restujuan PKS, datang ke NasDem mendapatkan restujuan dari NasDem. Dari NasDem berangkat menuju KPU sekitar 1.5 kilo (meter)," terang Cak Imin.

"The strong one goes, please go healthy, we can't prepare the rickshaws that can't be strong," he added.

Deputy Chairperson of PKB Jazilul Fawaid added that all coalition party officials carrying Anies-Cak Imin will attend the registration process at the KPU. His party will also invite volunteers from the taklim assembly community, laborers, to mass organizations to accompany Amin pairs to register with the KPU.

"Of course, those who are officially accompanied by the committee members of the coalition party DPP. As for other friends from the taklim assembly, mass organizations, youth, laborers, art activists, millennials, please flock if you want to join the crowd as long as it doesn't disturb order," said Jazilul.
