JAMBI - The Jambi City Government announced that schools will resume face-to-face teaching and learning activities starting October 11, 2023, after several days of conducting distance learning (PPJ) due to smog.
"Based on the report on the results of the analysis and in-depth evaluation of the Jambi City Smoke Fog Prevention and Control Alert Task Force and considering the current actual conditions are relatively conducive and safe for the implementation of teaching and learning in schools," said Head of the Jambi City Communications and Information Office Abu Bakar in Jambi, Antara, Tuesday, October 10.
For this reason, the Mayor of Jambi decided to return face-to-face learning activities in schools for PAUD to SMP equivalent, public and private students in Jambi City, starting October 11, 2023.
The latest decision is contained in the Circular of the Mayor of Jambi Number 20/EDR/HKU/2023 dated October 10, 2023 concerning the Implementation of Teaching Learning Activities (KBM) in educational units in Jambi City.
This latest circular automatically cancels the previously published circular regarding the Extension of Distance Learning (PJJ) online for school students valid for three days until October 11, 2023.
"With the issuance of this latest circular, Jambi Mayor Circular Number 19/EDR/HKU/2023 dated October 8 is revoked and declared no longer valid. Tomorrow, children on Wednesday (11/10) please return to learning as usual in their respective schools," he said.
