Indonesian Embassy Amman: No Indonesian Citizens Have Become Victims After Hamas Attack On Israel

JAKARTA - The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Amman, Jordan stated that he had not received reports from Indonesian citizens who were victims of the conflict between Palestine and Israel in the Gaza Strip which erupted on Saturday, October 7.

This latest attack became one of the most serious escalations in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict over the years.

Israeli media reported a shootout between Palestinian fighters and security forces took place in cities in southern Israel. Israeli police said there were 21 gun battle incidents in southern Israel, which indicated the level of the attack.

Palestinian news agency WAFA revealed an Indonesian hospital in Beilt Lahiya, the Gaza Strip was targeted by Israeli military airstrikes on Saturday. A medical officer was killed, a number of other people were injured and other essential hospital equipment was damaged.
