South Lampung Firefighters Extinguished Land Fires On Km 54 Toll Road

South LaMPUNG - Fire and Rescue Service (Damkarmat) officers of South Lampung Regency managed to extinguish a land fire in the Bakauheni-Terganggi Besar toll road area at KM 54 B and 57 A Tanjung Bintang sub-districts.

"There has been a fire on the KM 54 B and 57 A toll roads in Tanjung Bintang District, on October 7, 2023, at 11.15 WIB," said Head of the Fire Department at the South Lampung Damkarmat Service, Rully Fikriansyah, in Kalianda quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, October 7.

The fire department had difficulty overcoming the land fire, because the conditions at the scene contained strong winds and dried grass which resulted in flammable.

"The Tanjung Bintang Command Post Fire Team, which received a report at 11.17 WIB, immediately rushed to the location by deploying a fire engine," he said.

At around 12.00 WIB, the fire was successfully extinguished, and firefighters are currently cooling down the area where the incident occurred.

"Members arrived at 11.33 WIB and the fire was extinguished at 12.00 WIB, for victims zero and losses cannot be ascertained," he said.

Until this news was made, there has been no explanation of how much land the fire had experienced.
