Integrated Fast Train Station? Transjakarta Serves Cawang-Halim Station Route

JAKARTA - PT Transjakarta operates a non-BRT bus service with the Cawang-Halim Railroad Station, Jakarta Bandung (KCJB) code 7W.

Head of the Public Relations Department and CSR Transjakarta Wibowo said that the Transjakarta service, which is integrated with this high-speed train station, operates every day from 06-00 to 16-00 WIB. This route transfer operates from Thursday, September 28.

"The Cawang - St. Halim KCJB (7W) service has 10 stop points (bus stops), including Cawang Soetoyo, KCJB Halim Station, Cawang UKI, BKN, and BNN," Wibowo said in his statement, Friday, September 29.

He said the Transjakarta Cawang-Halim KCJB station service used a disability-friendly bus, namely low entry to make it easier for people to use public transportation.

"Transjakarta has also been connected to MRT, LRT, KAI to airport trains which eventually encourage people to use public transportation," he explained.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is rumored to be launching a soft launch or inauguration of the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train on October 1, 2023.

After the soft launching, the run-up train can be used by the public. Regarding the ticket price for the high-speed train, it is also likely to be announced on October 1, 2023.

Jokowi on September 13, 2023 conducted a trial of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train. Jokowi conducted a rapid train trial with the starting point of the trip from Halim Station, Jakarta, which ended at Padalarang Station, West Java.

As a result, it took 28 minutes to arrive at Padalarang Station from Halim.

Then, President Jokowi continued his journey to Bandung Station in Bandung City, West Java Province, by using a feeder or feeder train.

The fast train operator PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has also opened public participation to take part in the trial of the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train.

The second phase of the rapid train trial for the community will be carried out on September 25-30, 2023.

In a limited trial, KCIC served four Jakarta-Bandung round-trip (PP) schedules, bringing a total of 8 trips operating every day.

The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train can go up to 350 kilometers per hour so that the Jakarta-Bandung travel time can be trimmed to only about 45 minutes.
