If administratively, Sepaku District becomes the territory of the new capital city of Indonesia, then the population of North Penajam Paser Regency will experience changes The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a population registration number for the Nusantara City area, as many as 39,882 people from Sepaku District have changed their Identity Card (KTP) with the address of Nusantara City. "The Kode of the Nusantara City area has not yet been issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the ID cards of Sepaku residents still use 6409," he said. The registration number for the 6409 region, namely 64 codes for the East Kalimantan Province, and 09 codes for the North Penajam Paser Regency. The population of around 190,000 people will be reduced to around 39,882 people, when Sepaku District is taken over by the central government to the Nusantara City area.
