This is stated in the Draft Law (RUU) of the Special Region of Jakarta which replaces Law (UU) Number 29 of 2007 concerning the Provincial Government of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta as the Capital City of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. "I think the cabinet meeting has discussed it because currently preparations for moving the capital city to IKN have been running and in progress and there are already laws. Therefore, the name of the DKJ Bill is currently being processed, so Jakarta is no longer the capital city, no longer the DKI but the Jakarta Special Region," explained Ma'ruf.
