Bekasi Program Terang, Pemkab Pasang 120 Lampung Penerangan Selama 2023

JABAR - The Bekasi Regency Government (Pemkab) is promoting the Bekasi Terangka program by installing street lighting to support community mobility.

Head of the Bekasi Regency Public Housing, Settlement and Land Office (Disperkimtan), Nur Chaidir, said that in the initial stages of the program, 120 packages of work on the installation of street lighting were worked on by his party until the end of 2023.

"With this program, I hope that although it is not maximized, at least in these villages now the roads are clear. Because in the past we focused on district roads. Currently, the authority has been separated, so we can focus more on residential neighborhood roads," he said in Cikarang, West Java, Tuesday, August 29, confiscated by Antara.

He explained that this program was run by Disperkimtan after the separation of responsibilities between public street lighting and environmental roads that were previously in the Bekasi Regency Transportation Service.

He added that the full availability of environmental means of lighting is important to support community mobility, especially in economic movement while reducing the risk of accidents and crimes at night.

"The target is that all environmental roads that do not yet have environmental road lighting facilities, we will slowly comb them and slowly install lighting," he said.
