ASN Work At Krui Bawa Rutan Sabu Arrested By West Lampung Police

The state civil apparatus (ASN) who worked at the Krui Lampung Barat Detention Center with the initials AH was arrested by the police. AH was caught carrying methamphetamine-type narcotics when he was secured in Pekon (Village) Buay Nyerupa, Sukau District.

"We have arrested the alleged perpetrator of drug abuse of methamphetamine type with the initials AH (37) who is an ASN Class II Rutan.B Krui, a resident of Pekoni swamps, Pesisir Tengah District, West Coast Regency," said West Lampung Police Narcotics Unit Head Iptu Jhoni Apriwansyah in his statement in Liwa, Thursday, August 24, confiscated by Antara.

He explained that the incident began when the Narcotics Unit team patrolled Pekon Buay Nyerupa on Thursday, August 24 at around 01.00 WIB. Then arrested a man suspected of having narcotics.

After making the arrest, his party searched and found evidence of methamphetamine-type narcotics. "After a search was carried out, 0.27 grams of methamphetamine was found," he said.

Furthermore, his party interrogated AH, and AH admitted that the evidence in the form of methamphetamine was his.

"The perpetrators of drug abuse AH and evidence were brought to the West Lampung Police for further investigation," he said.

Now the suspect (AH) must be held accountable for his actions in the Narcotics Crime (Sabu) case as referred to in Article 114 Paragraph 1 or Article 112 Paragraph 1 of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a minimum imprisonment of 4 years and a maximum of 12 years.
