JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate allegations of corruption in the system procurement project at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker). This is because this work is worth tens of billions of rupiah.

"The approximately Rp20 billion," KPK Deputy Chair Alexander Marwata told reporters, Thursday, August 24.

Alexander said this system was allegedly corrupted until it could not be used to monitor Indonesian workers (TKI). In fact, there are a number of procurements including software and computers.

"Those who can only use computers to type and so on. But, the system itself doesn't work," he said.

Previously reported, there were three suspects named in the alleged corruption case at the Ministry of Manpower. Although the anti-corruption commission has not yet submitted it, the Secretary of the Planning and Development Agency of the Ministry of Manpower I Nyoman Darmanta is reportedly involved.

The KPK is still looking for evidence to prove the actions of the three suspects. In this way, investigators visited a number of places including the Ministry of Manpower Office to carry out forced searches.
