SEMARANG Responds to the proposed increase in the salaries of the central and regional civil servants (ASN) in 2024 which was conveyed by President Joko Widodo, Semarang City Regional Secretary (Sekda) Iswar Aminuddin revealed that the increase must be balanced with performance.

Regarding President Jokowi's proposal regarding the increase in ASN salaries, Iswar said that the Semarang City Government was ready to implement what was decided by the central government.
"Yes, whatever it is, we will definitely follow. What has been decided by the central government. What percentage increases, we will prepare later. At least from the General Allocation Fund (DAU)," he said.
"How is the central policy, we will definitely follow suit," said Iswar.
