JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi left for India to attend the G20 Digital Economy Ministers Meeting (DEMM) meeting which will take place in India on Sunday 19 August local time.
The Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) at the event played a role as a member of Troika for India's G20 Presidency and has prepared views on three priority issues that will be raised to other G20 members.
"Our discussion at India's Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG) Meeting of the G20 Presidency concerns three things, first, about public digital infrastructure, second, human resource skills and capabilities. The three priority issues are part of the final document of the results of the DEWG negotiations which have been held since February 2023. The discussion of the three priority issues is also a manifestation of Indonesia's efforts to accelerate national digital transformation.
"So, this includes all, to support Indonesia's digital transformation and also towards the 2045 Digital Indonesia Vision," said Budi.
