The suspect in the alleged forgery of land certificates, Ahmad Rosyid Hasibuan (ARH), who is the brother of Major Dedi Hasibuan, a member of the TNI from Kumdam I Bukit Barisan, denied that he was a forger of signatures and was considered a land mafia in the case he experienced at the Medan Police Headquarters.

Ahmad Rosyid Hasibuan and a colleague, Pagar Hasibuan, have been named by Medan Police investigators as suspects in the alleged case of falsifying the signature of a land certificate belonging to PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) II.

Rosyid explained that his relationship with Major Dedi Hasibuan was as a biological cousin. After being detained at the Medan Police Headquarters on suspicion of falsifying land certificate signatures, he immediately contacted Major Dedi Hasibuan to ask for a request for a suspension of detention.

"I and Major Dedi Hasibuan are close family. So it means that he uses it according to the law according to his right to provide legal assistance to myself and I reiterate Major Dedi Hasibuan is my biological cousin," Rosyid explained in his statement, Wednesday 9 August.

Rosyid said that in this case he was only an intermediary who brought together the seller and the buyer of the land, namely between Endi and Professor Pagar Hasibuan.

"My hope is that my process will be handled more clearly and clearly, because honestly I state that I have never falsified documents in any form on this case. My status is now as a suspect and in the suspension of detention," said Rosyid.

He said, the origin of the problem when he handled the land covering an area of 640 square meters is located in the area of Jalan Metrology, Sampali Village, Percut Seituan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.

As previously reported, Major Dedi Hasibuan together with a number of TNI AD personnel from the Bukit Barisan Military Command I visited the Criminal Investigation Unit Unit of the Medan Police, North Sumatra, Saturday (5/8/2023).

Major Dedi and a number of TNI AD personnel met with the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Medan Polrestabes, Kompol Teuku Fathir Mustafa and argued about the detention of Ahmad Rosid Hasibuan, who was said to be Major Dedi's brother.

After being visited by dozens of TNI personnel, investigators from the Medan Police Headquarters suspended the detention of Ahmad Rosid Hasibuan. Kontan Indonesia Police Watch (IPW) strongly condemned the suspension of detention and suspected that there was intervention and intimidation carried out by TNI members against the investigator's duties.

Although the Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police, Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi, said that Mayor Dedi's arrival was to coordinate, TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono ordered the TNI Military Police Center (Puspom) not to hesitate in taking action against Major Dedi Hasibuan who invited a number of soldiers to raid the Medan Polrestabes. In fact, Admiral Yudo ordered the Puspom to take firm action if it was proven that there was a violation.

Major Dedi Hasibuan is currently being investigated by the TNI Puspom in Jakarta, while a number of TNI personnel who participated in visiting the Medan Police Headquarters are being questioned in Medan.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Rosyid Hasibuan, who is no longer in custody, visited the North Sumatra Police's Professional and Security Division (Bidpropam) office, Tuesday (8/8/2023) afternoon.

His arrival was to report the investigators of the Medan Police Criminal Investigation Unit, namely the Head of the Medan Satreskrim Pidum Polrestabes AKP Wisnugraha Paramaartha, for alleged unprofessionalism in the investigation of his case.
