The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) together with the TNI have agreed to conduct a joint investigation or joint investigation in the bribery case that ensnared the Head of the National SAR Agency (Kabasarnas) Marshal Henri Alfiandi. Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said this agreement occurred after KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri met with TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono today, Wednesday, August 2. The two met at Yudo's official residence. "In the meeting, it was agreed that several things, of course, will be handled in this case jointly or joint investigation between the KPK and the TNI Puspom," Ali told reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, August 2. Ali explained that the basis for the joint investigation is Article 42 of the KPK Law and Article 89 of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP). The two agencies will resolve this case according to their rules. As for the technicality of the trial, Ali has not spoken much. This is because the KPK and the TNI Puspom have not discussed further. The KPK hopes that this process can run optimally. Coordination with the TNI is expected to make the handling of this case run effectively. "And it is also progressive until it is brought to the trial process," he said. As previously reported, the anti-corruption commission only uncovered the alleged bribery in the procurement of goods and services at Basarnas through a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Tuesday, July 25. From this active action, the KPK announced five people as suspects. The five suspects are Kabasarnas Marshal Henri Alfiandi and Koorsmin Kabasarnas Lt. Col. Afri Budi Cahyanto as suspects for receiving bribes. Meanwhile, as the giver is the President Commissioner of PT Multi Grafika Cipta Sejati, Mulsunadi Gunawan (MG), President Director of PT Intertekno Grafika Sejati Marilya and President Director of PT Kindah Abadi Utama Roni Aidil. However, the investigation of this case had a polemic because the KPK was considered to have exceeded the authority of the TNI. Because Henri and Afri are still active members. Thus, the KPK apologized and confirmed that it would only investigate three suspects from the private sector. Meanwhile, Henri and Afri were worked on by POM TNI and have now been thrown into custody.

In this case, Henri is said to have received a fee referred to as a command fund of Rp. 88.3 billion from the private sector from 2021-2023. This acceptance was made through Afri as his subordinate.
