YOGYAKARTA Head of the Highway Patrol Unit (Kasat PJT) Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kompol Sutikno revealed the chronology of women hijacking patrol cars in East Jakarta.

Sutikno said that the perpetrators of the hijacking were a woman named Jesicca Koroh (33), a resident of Jalan Kemanggisan Hilir IX, Palmerah District, West Jakarta.

The perpetrator hijacked a patrol car on the Bekasi-Cawang Kampung Melayu (Becakayu) toll road net in Matraman, East Jakarta on Sunday, July 23, 2023.

Jessica drove a car she hijacked from the Jatiwaringin 2 Toll Gate (GT), Bekasi City. Then, he was caught at the Exit of Rawamangun Toll Road, East Jakarta.

Kompol Sutikno conveyed that the chronology of the hijacking of patrol cars on the Becakayu Toll Road began when Jessica walked at the Jatiwaringin 2 Toll Gate on Sunday, July 23, 2023 night.

Next, Jessica was secured by a toll officer named Maulana Yusuf. The perpetrator was put into a patrol car which was still on.

While officers on the toll road were coordinating with toll road security, the perpetrators moved to the steering chair and hijacked the patrol car.

There was an attempt by the toll officers to stop the car. However, he was dragged by the car and injured until he was rushed to Harum Hospital, East Jakarta.

"Suddenly the car was on the road and the officers tried to hold it and were dragged by the car," said Sutikno to reporters, Monday, July 24.

Furthermore, PJR officers pursued the perpetrator. Then the car that was hijacked by the perpetrator hit a Honda Jazz with the number D 1016 YR.

The perpetrator fled again and hit a Toyota Rush with the number B 1759 NZO.

The speed of the patrol car hijacked by Jessica only stopped after the car hit the pavement.

The perpetrator was later caught by officers in the Utan Kayu area, Matraman, East Jakarta.

Now, toll road patrol car hijackers are undergoing medical treatment at a hospital in the East Jakarta area. Jesicca is being treated for health observation and other checks.

"He is still being treated at Duren Sawit Hospital. He is still being observed for mental disorders or the influence of drugs," said Head of Public Relations of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Lina when confirmed by VOI, Monday, July 24.

The East Jakarta Metro Police have not been able to conclude the exact cause of Jesicca's reckless motive for taking the patrol car away. This is because the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim investigators are still waiting for the results of the psychological test of the perpetrators.

"The motive is still under investigation. If the results have an effect on drugs, or mental disorders, we will process them," he said.
