BANJARBARU - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto handed over 1,055 certificates of State Property (BMN) and Regional Property (BMD) in South Kalimantan.

"Certification of government assets, BMN or BMD is President Jokowi's order to mitigate the occurrence of asset abuse which results in legal problems. In addition, to avoid overlapping on asset land," said Hadi in Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, July 13.

Hadi Tjahjanto said this asset land certification was in accordance with President Joko Widodo's instructions. The certificate was handed over at the South Kalimantan Governor's Office to 14 representatives of asset owners.

This government asset land segregation is also part of an effort to realize the registration of all land parcels in Indonesia which is targeted for completion in 2025.

"If all land has been registered, Indonesia's economic growth will increase drastically," said Hadi Tjahjanto.

The Minister of ATR/Head of BPN hopes that good cooperation with local governments can continue on the Complete Systematic Land Registration program (PTSL) in order to create a Complete Regency/City in South Kalimantan Province.

Meanwhile, Head of the South Kalimantan Provincial BPN Regional Office, Alen Saputra, said that the land registration process has so far reached 70.72 percent.

"The total land parcels in South Kalimantan have 3,049,478 plots, while the number of land parcels that have been registered is 2,156,665 plots," said Alen Saputra.

Previously, the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN Hadi Tjahjanto said that if the profits become complete provinces, all people have land rights in the form of certificates.

Then there are no more overlap conflicts, the land mafia has no room for movement, and investors will be calm because the entire land has legal certainty.
